The addition of the Canadian subsidiary will support Fujifilm’s objectives of building a stronger presence in the North American markets and in realizing greater collaboration among businesses, the company said. “Globally Fujifilm announced last year that during 2010, the company would align its organization by region in Europe, North America, China and Asia,” said Ryutaro Hosoda, President and CEO, Fujifilm North America Corporation. “This move will continue to position us more strongly to serve our customers in the North American region even more effectively and efficiently.” Hosoda also serves as President, Fujifilm Holdings America Corporation.
“Fujifilm Canada stands proud as a proven solutions-provider for our customers in the development of technologies that provide the back bone for state-of-the-art imaging, graphic arts, photofinishing and recording media products,” said Scott Saito, President, Fujifilm Canada. Fujifilm Canada is based in Mississauga, Ontario, with regional offices in Montreal and Vancouver.
