Fujifilm announces price increases for photographic film

Effective May 2012, the new pricing policy applies to Fujifilm color negative film, color reversal and black&white films as well as to the single-use camera QuickSnap. According to a press release, the increase is due to shrinking volumes, the strong Yen and significantly increasing costs of production due to rising prices for raw materials, oil and energy.
