Kevin Masuda has been named President, North American Motion Picture Group. Mr. Masuda will retain his global role as General Manager, FUJIFILM Motion Picture Film, International Marketing, Photo Imaging Products Division, and will continue to plan and direct the Group’s long term global strategies.
“The consolidation of our two operations will create a more strategic and coordinated approach to serving our customers and to ensuring that we provide them with innovative solutions that drive their businesses, while gaining greater operating efficiencies for Fujifilm,” said Mr. Masuda. “I look forward to working with our new Group management team and with everyone in the US and Canada to build a stronger and more effective Motion Picture business.”
Graeme Parcher has been promoted to Group Vice President, North American Motion Picture Group, reporting to Masuda. He will be based in Los Angeles with responsibility for the implementation and management of all sales, marketing and operational activities for the Group. Parcher, who joined Fujifilm in 2000, is currently Vice President, Motion Picture & Recording Media Division, Fujifilm Canada. His background includes executive sales and marketing positions with Panavision Inc., and experience as a camera assistant in the motion picture field. Mark Murphy, currently Vice President & General Manager, Motion Picture Division, Fujifilm USA, will assume the role of Business Consultant. Murphy will play a strategic role in the development of the new business plan and the integration process.
