Ferrania Technologies showcase its first new digital camera models.

Ferrania will showcase new products under its new brand Solaris Digital, keeping its well know positioning of easy photographytm .

This announcement came today at PhotoKina trade show in Cologne (Hall 6, Stand D079).

Increasing beyond the range of products of the conventional photography Solaristm brand – films and single use cameras – and the range of products of the OptiJettm line – paper and cartridges – Ferrania will launch its new brand SOLARIS DIGITAL, a new line for its digital products.

The range of products includes four models:

Solaris Digital 501

Main specifications: 5 megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom, 2.4 inches monitor, two AA batteries

This model has a great quality/price balance, its simple use makes it is ideal for absolute beginners, the monitor luminosity helps while taking pictures and the PictBridge function makes it possible to print directly without a PC.

Solaris Digital 601

Main specifications: 6 megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom, Pentax lenses, 3-inch type monitor, rechargeable Lithium batteries.

3-inches monitor is the new trend in digital machines: since all cameras have a high megapixel level, monitor width is one of the key factors for buyers today.

Main specifications: 7.1 megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom, 2.5 inches monitor.

Solaris Digital V501

Main specifications: Videocamera with Mp3, audio recorder, 5 megapixel photocamera, available in two colours, rechargeable Lithium batteries
