Facebook launches photo app

Facebook Camera gathers the photo albums of the user’s facebook friends all in one place, making it possible to see more of any album or tap to enlarge an individual photo. With the app, users can quickly share multiple photos all at once instead of having to post one picture at a time. After the pictures are selected by tapping a checkmark on each photo,all the user has to do is to hit the ”post” button. It is possible to add a caption or to tag the people on the picture. Shots can also easily be cropped, rotated or edited with filters.

While the Instagram deal is still subject of approval by the US antitrust athorities, Facebook said it had no intention to shut Instagram down.
