Executive Vice President of HP to speak at DIMA 2010 luncheon

Joshi’s presentation, titled “Transforming the Photo Industry,” will provide deep customer insight, discussing how HP is helping retailers profit from people’s desires to access and personalize content by creating new technologies that connect the physical and digital worlds in ways never imagined.

The Imaging and Printing Group at HP encompasses inkjet, LaserJet, and commercial printing, printing supplies, digital photography, entertainment, graphics, and managed services.

In the last seven years under Joshi’s leadership, IPG has grown revenue from $19 billion to $29 billion and has doubled its operating profit to more than $4 billion.

He joined HP in 1980 as a research and development engineer and has held various leadership positions. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State University. He is a member of the Yahoo! board of directors.
