Delkin Devices announces over a dozen new products at PMA

This year’s awards were given to the Fat Gecko Gator Mount, a new addition to the already decorated Fat Gecko Camera Mount family, with a second going to the Jellyfish Floating Waterproof Accessory Kit. These join Delkin’s respectable product line up of over 200 innovative photography products that include flash memory cards, sensor cleaning and inspection, Archival Gold recordable media, readers, adapters, batteries, chargers and DSLR camera protection.

The Fat Gecko Gator Mount is a revolutionary new camera mounting device used to hold a camera in place while clamped to almost any object. Delkin’s newest Class 10 SDHC memory card line is rated at 163X for advanced transfer speeds up to 24MB per second. Delkin has consistently added new Snug-It Pro Camera Skin models since the successful introduction of the product line at PMA in 2008. Delkin’s popular Pop-Up Shade line has been expanded again to include Professional shades for the Canon Rebel T1i and Nikon D300S, with shades for the Canon 7D and Nikon D3000 to be released soon. The professional Pop-Up Shade is designed to protect the most heavily used areas of a DSLR, including the viewfinder, control buttons and LCD screen. A removable shade around the LCD screen offers a clear view in sunlight by eliminating reflection and glare, which is especially helpful for “live-view” shooting outdoors. The shade portion can be quickly removed for indoor shooting or shady environments, and snapped closed to provide further LCD screen protection during storage, transportation and travel.

The charging capabilities of Delkin’s 2008 DIMA award winner have expanded again, with new charging plates available for the Canon LPE5 and LPE6 battery.

The Dual Universal Battery Charger was originally honored two years ago for its outstanding design and innovation because of the unique ability to charge any two digital camera batteries simultaneously, including AA and AAA rechargeable batteries. Since then, Delkin has been adding new models of charging plates as new batteries are announced, giving photographers the ability to expand the charger’s capability without having to purchase a new charger. The new LEP5 and LPE6 charging plates enable owners of the Canon Rebel XS, XSi, T1i, 5D Mark II and 7D to charge their batteries using the Dual Universal Battery Charger.
