CE Week canceled

IFA and CTLab have decided to cancel this year’s CE Week which was scheduled to take place June 10 to 11, 2020 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York, NY, USA. Produced in cooperation with IFA; the leading technology trade show that will take place September 4-9 in Berlin, Germany, CE Week claims to be the premier North American business venue for connecting key decision makers, retail buyers and sellers in consumer technology.

According to a press release, The New York State Office of General Services, in conjunction with the Governor’s Office, the New York State Department of Health and the U.S Army Corps of Engineers, requested the use of available space at the Javits Center in order to help combat the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. As this is challenging for all of us it was self-evident to back the decision of the Javits Center to support the New Yorkers in their time of need, IFA said. For the IFA event in September, the organizers expect more than 1,800 exhibitors and 240,000 visitors.
