The Gartner Magic Quadrant positions vendors based on their performance across two major categories: the Ability to Execute, in which Gartner evaluates MFP and printer providers "on the quality and efficacy of the processes, systems, methods and procedures that enable their products’ performance to be competitive, efficient and effective, and to positively impact revenue, retention and reputation" and the Completeness of Vision, where each provider is rated on their "understanding of how market forces can be exploited to create opportunity for the provider and for its clients."
