Canadian companies receive Agfa Graphics’ GreenWorks honors

GreenWorks recipients are proactively minimizing their ecological footprint while maintaining the highest quality standards in the graphic communications industry. "For a company like Agfa, developing new printing technologies that are more productive, efficient and minimize environmental impact is paramount. GreenWorks provides a platform for us to support customers who are doing their part and running more eco-friendly companies," said Dave Carey, Product Manager, Agfa Graphics, North America.

To qualify for GreenWorks, nominees must use either Agfa Graphics’ :Azura TS chemistry-free plates, :Amigo TS low-chemistry CtP plates or :Energy Elite no-bake plates. They must also be active proponents of other environmentally-friendly products or processes. This includes recycling, waste reduction programs and alternative energy use in their plants.
