The gallery owner Janek Brings and the artist decided jointly on a 30 x 30 format in order to place the photos in a serene, centred context. The content of Muge’s theme is the current, enormous changes taking place in China, with Muge’s focus being on individuals in this process of change. Muge is interested in the people of his home country and he addresses the question of what happens to these people within this process of change.
Thomas Grunau, Marketing Director of CeWe Color AG & Co. OHG, believes that the significance of the CeWe Photo Book as a form of presenting art will grow strongly: “With many exhibitions, gallery owners and artists face the problem of wanting to give a comprehensive exhibition of the works in relatively small rooms. On the other hand, it is only worthwhile having catalogues printed if the number of copies printed is relatively high – and this costs a lot of money. CeWe Photo Book is an ideal solution here: artists have all the creative freedom they need, the number of copies can be ordered at affordable prices fromonly one copy on and the medium impressively supplements the works of art hanging on the gallery walls, particularly when a large format is chosen. And the CeWe Photo Book is a work of art in itself, even in a low number of copies, and is increasingly attracting attention among serious art collectors. This opens up interesting new sales potentials for gallery owners.”
